To protect employees, specific rules have been established: before beginning any screen work or if they experience eye complaints, employers must give their employees the opportunity to have an eye examination. If it is found that prescription screen glasses can reduce the complaints, the employer has the obligation to make them available.

Yes, screen glasses are a health and safety provision according to Handboek Loonheffingen 2021 edition October 2021 article 22.1.9. There is a specific exemption for occupational health and safety provisions that is not at the expense of your free allowance under the work-related costs scheme.
